How It Works

1. Register online and pay the entry fee of ₹199.
2. The song has to be a Carnatic Devotional song. Movie songs are accepted as long as they're devotional in nature.
3. Upload your audition video. Guidelines below:
   • You must upload a VIDEO of yourself singing (not just audio).
   • The video must clearly show your face and full upper body while singing.
   • The performance should be solo voice only – no karaoke or instrumental background tracks.
   • You may use a shruti box or metronome as support.
   • Contestants must be dressed modestly.
   • Record in a well-lit environment, against a simple background with no distractions.
   • Ensure the video filename is your full name (e.g., AnanyaRavi.mp4).
4. Shortlisted contestants will progress to the next round.
5. Shortlisted semi-finalists’ performance videos will be uploaded on Vidyarthi’s official social media pages. Participants are encouraged to share these posts and engage with them, as public opinion (likes/shares) may be considered alongside judges’ evaluations.
6. Final Round will be a live online performance before our panel of judges.
7. Winners will be announced with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in each category. All finalists will receive Certificates of Excellence.
